#37: Stewart Island Track - Guided Walk

Starting in the southern city of Invercargill, we fly to Mason Bay on the west coast of Stewart Island with the chance to see a kiwi in the wilderness of this remote coastal hideaway.

Then walk, water taxi and sea kayak your way across the island to Halfmoon Bay. A visit to the stunning open sanctuary Ulva Island and some time to explore Halfmoon Bay before flying back to the mainland at Invercargill.

A medium level of fitness is required for Stewart Island. The walking is generally flat. The track is muddy for short sections.

You are welcome to spend an extra night or two on Stewart Island, we would be happy to tailor this itinerary for your specific needs.
